What do we achieve by this process?Our work with you is aimed at achieving the following outcomes:
How do we do it?Normally, our project leader will visit your business and spend up to three days initially with you and your staff, mapping your processes and generally getting a feel for how you do things. We then spend some time working on your processes and developing a first draft operations manual. We leave this draft manual with you for you to make changes and modify the detail. We then review and discuss the changes with you before reconstructing the manual. Generally, there are one or sometimes two more drafting processes to achieve a final result that truly reflects your business. During this process, we discuss and identify processes that are not efficient and develop process improvements leading to an operations manual that documents robust and effective policies and procedures for your business. Parallel with this development process we build a team handbook that enhances your team's understanding of the business and the culture and attitude you are seeking to bring to your business. TimingSo how long does this take? In some degree this is up to you however, we will assist you to remain focussed on completion of this task. Normally, the first draft can be achieved within no more than 2 to 3 weeks of our first visit. The review process will generally take one to two months depending on your ability to respond to our queries. We will of course guide and support you through this necessary process, keeping you informed and time focussed without intruding unduly on the vital task of keeping the business operational. |
